Each learner prepares a talk supported by a poster with main points, pictures, and diagrams, then presents it multiple times as listeners circulate.
Procedure
- Each learner prepares a short talk on their chosen or assigned topic.
- Each learner creates a poster containing the main points of the talk with pictures, photos, or diagrams to support the presentation.
- Presenters stand or sit at their poster station.
- Listeners move around, stopping at posters that interest them to hear the presentation.
- Each presenter delivers their talk multiple times to different listeners.
- Optionally, listeners can ask questions after each presentation.
Tips
- The repeated delivery naturally develops fluency as presenters become more comfortable with each retelling.
- Posters serve as visual cues that reduce memory load and support the speaker.
- Can involve multimedia presentations for more advanced learners.
- Works well as the culmination of project work or prepared talks.
- Different from Gallery Walk in that presenters actively deliver talks rather than viewers silently reading posted work.
