Numbers in my life

Students choose significant numbers and the class guesses what they represent.

Procedure

  1. Each student writes down 3 numbers that are significant in their life.
  2. A volunteer shares their numbers with the class.
  3. The class guesses the meaning of each number.
  4. If unguessed, the student explains.
  5. Repeat with more volunteers.

Tips

  • Teacher goes first to model the activity and set the tone.
  • Works as both an icebreaker and a getting-to-know-you activity.
